is their any way to work in the 3d industry without 12 hour work days 6 day weeks constant stress no creativity over what your making etc?

I guess it depends on where you're working. You'd definitely have more creative freedom if you're working in a smaller studio but then you'd probably have more stress since they don't have a lot of people working on the same project. I don't have any personal experience with these things yet since I'm still in school but that's what I've heard from others..

True but I've heard it's just as bad with stress and work load in big companies. An article I read said 80 hours is a normal work week, people sleep there, don't have any say, get bullied, most people are egomaniacs. They don't pay well, most people can't see friends or family except on sunday, peoples relationships or marriages suffer big time. Is it really all worth it just for some 3d?
