I know, and its a damn shame, I really wanted Rooney and the other manchester boys to win that last game. For knocking the UK out they had better win it, I can't stand to see the French win, and I'm not a big fan of Italy.

I love what you do with light (especially Cosmic New Year). & I'm with you on night wanderings with camera. I recommend Hong Kong & Macau as the most amazing places to do that.
I met a fab photog last year who was Ansel Adams' last assistant - he said "If Ansel were alive today, he'd love Photoshop & use it all the time. He'd think of it as helping to eliminate camera limitations & bring the photo in line with what the eye and mind saw."

Thanks, some of my best light ones were done by seting it at about 6seconds at 22f and then toss the camera into the air while hitting the shutter, Cosmic New Year was the best one of those types. Ansel was and is the f-in man, he was a true master of black and white, a god even. And thanks so much for the comment, wish I could make it to asia but I'm just a poor little working boy. I can rarley get back home to Canada. Thanks again.

Throwing your camera in the air! What a cool idea.
I'm just a poor working girl too. But if you teach English in places like Korea and Taiwan, often the schools will pay your airfare; then once you're over here it's easy to save money and cheap to fly to other Asian places. I love this life. I wish I could get home to Canada more often too, though.
