# About me
Welcome to my page. I've been taking pictures ever since I was 10 when my parents bought me a Kodak Instamatic camera for Christmas. Back then it was mostly family, friends and random things I would take pictures of. But as I got older, I developed a passion for photographing the great unoccupied spaces of the American West. I've always been aware of my surroundings. The landscape changes all around me as the wild places of the continent dwindle and shrink and come under attack from urban sprawl, which I also photograph in the form of street photography. I'm usually able to see the picture before I take it. I always try to express my feelings in response to what I see through the viewfinder.Current Residence: San Diego

I've never been to the West Coast even though I've got a few friends over there, so looking at your photos of the "relatively mundane" things like neighborhoods, old buildings, and that sort of thing has actually been really cool. And you've got a great camera, that helps too.

Yeah California has everything you want. Sometimes I wish it were its own nation. Having a good camera does help, but knowing photoshop is the key to good photography in my opinion.
