Hi! ^_^
Where'd you get So-Di as a name?
It was so so lovely seeing you Beltane weekend! I've been stressing about finals today. Also replacing my tennis shoes. I deal with shoe shopping as little as humanly possible because between wide feet and bad arches I'm pretty picky, but the soles of my tennies (which I wear to Irish dance once a week) are tearing off. When I trip over not my feet but rather a loose part of my shoe, it's time to get new shoes. ><

Been thinking about theology. A bit ago I rediscovered a Spiral Dance bit about Litha as the time when the God dissolves in the love that is so complete it is death, and it set me thinking about the Hindu Brahman-Atman concept of the relationship of God to "individual." I'm playing with the Wiccan Wheel story as a story of the courtship and love between soul/atman/spirit and Goddess, with death as the point of union before rebirth (with no particular need for cohesion of person from one life to the next). I'm not sure about it yet--I'll have to try it out in ritual to see how it feels as a way of worship. What do you think?

love always,
Christina

I think it sounds like a beautiful adaptation! Death and love are both liminal subjects. I hope you'll tell me about how ritual goes ^.^

And good luck with the shoes. And finals. And all things, really. *hugs!* SoDi comes from the pen-name I used for my fan-fic, sillily enough. XD So... yeah, that's the whole story behind it. Though I like to say it's cause it sounds like 'Sodipop'! Mmm, soda...
