I am applying, yeah, but I'm down to the deadline now. My drawings aren't done and I have to send everything Wednesday. I'm freakin' out. D:

But yeah, graphic design's my intended major. I may explore printmaking a bit, though, or product/industrial design. Stuff like that's always seemed pretty awesome. (And it all pulls in graphic design anyways, so.)

Finally it's a bit cold. We even had a day off yesterday to avoid driving the most minute bit of ice. Gotta love us Texans - it hits 32 degrees and people refuse to leave their homes. But oh well. What can you do?

It was around 36 yesterday and everyone declared that
it felt like spring had hit chicago. Funny cuz that was the
exact temp it was the morning I left texas and everyone was
freaking out saying the cold weather there was ridiculous and too
cold. hahah love life.

But chicago is pretty good. Lots of homework that
I procrastinated on to be done. Since i've been back haven't
really seen as many people wearing obama stuff but if you talk to
them they're all still pretty excited

how's college hunting going? have you heard back from your schools?

Haha, yeah, I don't even think about weather anymore. It's too confusing. I have to change my car's heater/AC settings every day. I start out on heat and by the afternoon, I'll be sweating if it's not blowing cold air. It's dumb.

College searching's going well, actually. I was accepted to CCS, so that's nice. (The admissions officer emailed me the day after they got my portfolio. I was like yesssss.) Haven't heard from MassArt yet, and I'm still working on my RISD stuff. :/
