To think that the friendly "friendship forever" themed guild former master is the the master of dark guild that wants to reawaken the most evil mage in history 
one of the things I noticed as well Ultear blush when she was thinking of meeting Zeref now I hope the badass Ultear isn't Zeref fangirl that would be lame

The chapter hinted that Purehito (Hades) used to be a very kind and gentle person. So it's possible along the way he was corrupted by something or someone which changed his motives, which might also explain how he's still alive when he's apparently well over a hundred years old. I don't know why but for some reason I just have the feeling that he has something to do with Cana's back-story.
As for Zeref, I'd like to see his back-story from his perspective; judging by his personality I just can't help but wonder if all his infamy is merely the result of a series of unfortunate accidents due to magic powers he couldn't control.
When it comes to Ultear...to be honest I have no idea what's motivating her, keep in mind when she was a kid she manipulate Jellal into building the tower of Heaven just so she would have a diversion eight years later. As for the blush it could be she's just one of those women who feels attracted to very evil men. In any case I imagine that she, Gray, and/or Erza are going to have a very interesting chat this arc
