My dog Sam, well he is a bit of alot of things really lol. He is definately part terrier but the vetinary nurse could not give me any more information about his mixed breeds.

I saw a comment you made on Nightwish about the sacking of Tarja.
Do not get me wrong I adore the woman, the voice, her style, her performances etc but I do not see how you think that it was unfair of Nightwish to dismiss her.
Tuomas and the boys have always been very dedicated to the fans, it's apparent in their live shows and the way they greet after concerts. I believe that tarja probably did not take part in much of the recording, or have much of an involvement with the band, she was much more of a permanent session musician than anything else, and I think in such a successful band like Nightwish, that will not work anymore. As Toumas said Nightwish is his main release in life, why should he sacrifice the overall atmoshphere in the band for a woman who cannot dedicate herself to their music.
I feel that the fans should stick by Nightwish, after all it is Toumas, Emmpu, Marco and Jukka that do all of the pain staking music writing and composing.
Of course Nightwish won't be the same, their lead singer of years has just been sacked, but you cannot condemn them for making the right choice on their musical path.
Who knows maybe they will comer through this larger than life, maybe it will be a little more difficult.
I urge you fellow Nightwish fan. Support them.

I never said it was unfair that Nightwish sacked Tarja, nor do I condemn them for doing so; they had their reasons for feeling they could no longer work with her.
What pissed me off (and still does) was the WAY she was sacked. I feel it should have been between the band and Tarja, with some kind of agreed announcement that they had parted company; for the band to publish an open letter on the net basically telling her she was sacked made the band, and Tarja look bad and did no favours for anyone.
I still support Nightwish and I still support Tarja, that wont change, but I still feel she was treated badly in the way she was sacked.

I feel there is alot more to it than what it seems on the surface.
If it is true, and I do not see my Tuomas would falsify, Tarja saying that she doesn't need Nightwish and that she could drop the band and leave with just a days notice, is terrible.
I love the woman but I dont think she is an innocent as people think.
Its your choice if you feel it was unfair, but look at it from Tuomas's point of view, he must have been extremely hurt by those comments, really, he had no reason to return any kindness because none was shown towards him in the first place. All is fair in business.

I agree, there is probably a lot more went on between the band and Tarja than we will ever know.
I'm not saying she was totally innocent in all this, and it was wrong of her to say she didn't need the band. I also agree that Tuomas must have been hurt by someone he had seen as a friend say such things.
But what's done is done; now we need to look forward to a new singer for Nightwish, she may be better/worse than Tarja, who knows. Hopefully we won't have to wait much longer before they decide who will replace Tarja.
