Haha, good question! I've never really gotten into writing something wholly original. I really like playing in other people's sandboxes. I've started a few would-be novels, but my ideas and passion for them have gone away, and I never got very far with them.

Usually you can't sell fanfiction -- the original copyright holder would be very mad and could sue you in court. The whole point of fanfiction is that you're not SUPPOSED to make money off of it, because you'd be making money off of someone else's creation. But there are companies that license their characters (Disney, for example) to writers and either hires people to write specific stories based in those worlds (like "A Frozen Heart") or they'll accept and publish very specific submissions according to a policy (like LucasArts did for the Star Wars novels until Disney bought the franchise).

I think I replaced the yellow-colored ones on the site with the clean ones of 1-5. Feel free to check for me. I've got to make the transcripts for several pages, but if you have any pages past 100 that you could put in the Dropbox, that'd be awesome! I've already resized and renamed everything up to 100, so feel free to delete those files from Dropbox if you need the space.

Yup, I'm still (slowly) writing "What Doesn't Kill You" -- it's not done yet. But I hope to, someday. I can't draw nearly as well as you, but I have done a few pieces of fanart for WDKY, and I really ought to get them here on dA, even if I put them in Scraps because I'm such a perfectionist.

By the way, I got the rest of the pages you sent me up on the site today!

I downloaded that Dropbox program and I made a folder called Along The Way, and I placed pages 1 - 100 in it so far. ^^

Hey,
I'm so glad to hear from you and Flashchimp! I've started to set up the site, but I won't really be able to demonstrate just how awesome it'll be until I get a few pages from you.

So, since the pictures are so large, that's where the ZIP comes in.

If you can get the first few images (let's just say the first 5 or so), including the cover, what you'd then do is use a program like WinZIP or another "archive utility" (there are lots out there; some computers have it built in, but there are many you can download for free) and "compress" the images into one file: the ZIP.

You could name it something like atw_pages1-5.zip, and that way you'd keep track of what's inside. Then, email that to me by attaching it to a message!

Let me know if you need any additional help with any of that; I can always try to grab the images from DeviantART but that would take a lot longer.
