You see, you contradicted yourself because imagination never needs help. Having any at all will give you enough to slide through life, creating new things from your own brain. Why people insist on repeatedly making fan art is beyond me, once or twice is fine, but to continue? After you've lost all respect you'd gained? Why do it anymore?
And color? Since when did color matter to an imagination, black and white is just as amazing as technicolor, so long as the idea behind it is still original, color matters not.
