As I currently stand, I am indifferent to either side of the conflict that you and another individual i know are currently involved in.
I cant take a side on either part of the fence due to a lack of definite proof that there is anything truly wrong happening here.
As to whether I think you, an individual who cannot be physically moved to do anything against your own will here on the internet, should be pushed to move away from a space on said internet just because of another individual. No I do not believe it needs to escalate that far. If there is an issue that needs to be rectified, and neither party is willing to discuss it on pleasant terms, then perhaps just blocking and/or being blocked will solve the issue.
But nobody can make you do anything you dont truly want to, not on the internet.
Now I dont know the specifics, nor do I know if their truthful or not, and it's not my place to know them, but as an unbiased third party, my opinion, seeing how you obviously have some friends here on DA, is that you do what you think is right.
