# About me

THE ART DEPARTMENT IS:

The Art Department is an online art school dedicated to the training and preparation of artists for today’s professional art world. At TAD, we strive to impart the skills and techniques necessary for our students to work at a professional level, as well as build vibrant careers in the arts and entertainment fields. Our program begins with three semesters of foundations classes designed to provide the fundamentals of both traditional and digital art, building a framework for our three Industry Programs.

The Art Department’s students may choose between our Drawing & Painting, Illustration and Entertainment Programs. TAD’s programs are tailored to a specific professional art industry and designed by artists currently working in the field.

As an online school, TAD can offer busy students the opportunity to take part in live classes, or watch recordings of those classes at a later date. An education from The Art Department is available to students worldwide.

Hi to Jon Foster, I saw your Homo Naledi burial painting on national geographic..just wanted to say it's so well done, I feel transported in time...it's gripping and intense...I love paleoart and yours has especially lovely color in the natural elements.  You seem to be one of the only artists who've illustrated this new ancestor.  I found it while searching for an image of the oldest known burial, 100,000 years ago, at Qafzeh Cave, Israel, body #11, a 13-year old disabled boy who was buried with the singular honor of having his hands clasping red deer antlers.  It's a touching story.  Thanks for your art!

Just downloaded all the videos on here from Jon Foster and there's an issue with the zip files... I've only managed to successfully unzip videos 3+4+5.

video bundle 1+2 - no success
video 6 - no success
video bundle 7+8 - no success

I see people posted re this problem on here since JAN! which is terrible. Should be simple to re-do.

Can you get these files re-zipped to work??

Thanks

Would you be interested in being part of a science fiction and fantasy magazine (as an artist, of course)?
