Then I searched the image on Google and found your Tumblr with the image, and then I found a link to your DA through that! Just thought it'd be cool to share haha. I like your art!

Ah! that's actually really really cool! I've sorta gotten used to my faceswap stuff(and some of my art :T) being spread around without credit, and most people not going through the effort of tracking down the source for themselves (ooor only being interested in my silly screencap edits not my art :'D) so that story actually really brightens my day!

ARg that's terrible. I think bootleggers n stuff tend to target fanart, since they know the characters will sell easier? I've started trying to upload everything in much smaller res than I made, but nothing stops that sort of thing completely >_<
anyways, it's good that you're not too disheartened by it and still makin stuff ^_^

That's actually a pretty valid point, I guess fanart would sell easier! And yeah - that's always a good idea to make it lower res, because then you're the only one who has the highest quality image (aka the original one).

Yeah, I wanted to get my name off of DA (at least the little "formerly" thing will go away after about a month, I think). I shot myself in the foot in that way when I made the account, hahaha. I was awarded a 1 month premium membership from answering a "writing prompt" on DeviantART's facebook page so yeah
