I saw your pottery on the Ceramics Clan and I think it is very nice! When I went to your page, I noticed that you also do historical costuming... are you by any chance in the SCA?

Thanks very much! I am a big fan of historical costuming, but I haven't been involved in any SCA activities, I don't really know what it is.

(briefly) the SCA is an organization dedicated to researching and reenacting the middle ages. We do everything from costuming, pottery (what I do), cooking... etc. etc.. and we also do equestrian activities, archery and, the most visible activity, fighting. We fight with wooden (rattan) weapons but use real armor. Way to much to explain in one short post, but feel free to go to: [link] and check out the "Kingdom" (regional group) that I belong to. From there, there are links to the main SCA page where you can look up the group in your area if you are interested (or you can reply back and I can help you find a group/contact person in your area).

Your costuming is beautiful and would fit right in!
