I think I read that one about becoming a tree. I agree that some of his poems seem to lack emotion, but that could be because we aren't reading them in the original language. But sometimes I think I'm just not in the right mood to understand it, you know what I mean?

Fleurs du mal is something like "evil's flowers". It's basically about creepy portrais of women. If you like some dark inspiration, this book is the place to find it.

naw. I'm not that good. Maybe if they speak reeaaallly slowly. and use short sentences. XD I mostly know useless stuff like "ore wa homo ja nai!!" Oh and introductions. aahhh, I know! I only have a couple of the hiragana and katakana memorized. Not to mention kanji... BUT! I found this really amazing book at the library a couple days ago, and it's super interesting and really helpful. You should try to find it at your libraries. It has already helped me a lot, and like I said, it's interesting. It's called "Japanese Step by Step: an innovative approach to speaking and reading Japanese". It's by Gene Nishi. And I found it on Amazon so you can see what it looks like. [link]
Yay! Italian is such a beautiful language. I love it. Your english isn't too bad. But it would probably be easier for you to learn Italian cause it's so close to Spanish. (sometimes I can understand people who are speaking Spanish, haha)

Yes, that's the kind of Spanish I was referring to. There are a lot of Mexicans around here, so that's who I overheard talkng. It was actually kind of funny because I was just in a store, minding my own business, and there were some people nearby, and I realized that they were wanting to buy a phone. I didn't catch anything more than that, but it felt good to be able to get at least that much. But other times they are talking wayyyyy too fast and the only thing I understand is "muy"

Here's the deal... I made a sculpture of a baby dressed up like a SS officer, Wearing a helmet and a gasmask. I wrote schwein in the back of his head.The point is to show how the babies in the nazi's days were concieved to be nazis. what i want you to do is to write a verse. A verse about losing your mind and turning the heart in to stone. But I want it to be written as if you were the baby himself. Know what I mean? Could you do it????

Well, once you know the meaning of the radicals that are in kanji, I guess they're supposed to be quite easy to read.

haha the "gloomy ambientation" XD. I am known for randomly donning a British accent when I'm talking. Tis fun. Oh, language tip #2: you only say "either one" when there are two things in question. When there are 3 or more, you would say "any of them" or something like that.

Yeah, that's the reason I didn't like Pirates 2 & 3. The story line pretty much sucked, and I was confuzzled almost the entire time I was watching. But they are almost worth watching more than once, thanks to Captain Jack Sparrow.

Well, it was me and a friend who did it. This particular person (whose car we vandalized) had TP'ed my bro's truck and totally trashed the inside (glitter in the vents, silly string everywhere) "for a joke". And they did it more than once, as well as hitting our house. (there were two of 'em who did it, but we haven't gotten the other guy yet) So we decided to get them back. We did one of their cars, writing "Just Married" all over and tying cans onto the bumper etc. It was fun XD

eeww throwing beer everywhere...All I can think is "sticky!!" lol. sounds kinda gross to me, but it was probably fun at the time. + you don't have the best judgement when you're drunk.

Your English isn't too bad, just a few things here and there. Mostly stuff that they don't really teach you in the books anyway. Your spelling is a LOT better than most American kids so I wouldn't worry about that too much. And if you fail the Toefl, you could always take it again, right? And then you would know what to work on to improve your score.

J! I'm very happy my friend!!! I've just came back from a trip to the aztek pyramids and the country capital. The pyramids were the same as always.(thousands of people and nowhere to hide from the killer sun) but Mexico city is quite cool. I was born there and I really missed it. We've got this drunkard teacher who forgot to bring the money to pay the driver and also forgot to send word to his mother that we were coming. "We" meaning 40 people or so.
But besides that everything went just dandy. LOL.

LOL.nope. the paln was that we were going to sleep over at an aunt's or something, but when we arrived there his aunt told us to go away for her family was there. mmm so we stayed a while in that town. By the way, it was rather odd. It was time of the town festival and everything was about donkeys...... one could even marry a donkey!!!! LOL!!!
Then, by 6 or 7 o'clock, we took the bus back to mexico DF, to his mother house. It was supposed to be a surprise ( a rather nasty one) but his mother wasn't at home. she was at the hospital. I think she felt and broke a bone or something.
So we took over her house and made a great party!!!!!!! J!!!!!
We mexican are quite ones for parties!!!
It was quite an adventure I think.

I don't know. I don't think of Mexicans that way, partially because there are a lot of Mexicans around here, and I'm friends with Mexicans so I know that's not true. But I don't know about everybody else. I don't think most people think that way. Most Americans probably think of poverty, drugs, and crime when they think of Mexico. Thank you!! Yep, the 4th of July is a big holiday here. A lot of people go somewhere for vacation over the weekend. But other people (like me) stay home to celebrate. Most towns have a parade, and there are always fireworks. People set off little ones, and professionals set off the bigs ones like . People get together with friends and have cookouts and picnics and stuff like that. (And of course when you have family and friends over, there is always good food!) My town had a parade of really old cars that people have restored and stuff. I wanted just about every car I saw.... People came from all over the nation to come and be in this parade . But afterward there was this guy running around in a gorilla suit and he wouldn't leave me alone. grrr I was ready to punch him.
But aside from that, I had a good week How about you?

Let me tell you the whole story:
Once upon a time...... I was working in my wonderful job (by the way, I work in hooters as a cook, really hate it), and a friend called me on the phone.
She told me: Oi pepe!! Your services are required!!! please come to my office to talk with my boss. He is the one who wants something."

I told her I couldn't make it that day cuz I had an appointment with maki (my sensei) to watch all the star wars movies... yes, I'm a fan and I'm proud of it..
so I went when I could. Here the journey began with a faboulous trip in a noisy bus, sitting next to a fat lady who seemed to have mistaken me for a pillow. I reached my destination at last ,only to discover that I was in the wrong side of the neighborhood.
I arrived to the office where my friend work, where I was presented with a lousy apple pie and hot water...... Then I had to hear a one hour disertation about a god I don't really care about. But the payment's worth it, aye?

MMM do you really think a wii is a waste of money???? The original scheam is to save money but I've been raging to buy a wiii. I bought a 360 not to long ago but Mr. Bill Gates (he shall burn in hell) charges on everything and I don't wann apay to play online. but I dunno, may be I should listen the voice of my consciense. (meaning you)

Yeah, I think a Wii is sorta a waste of money. But that's because I never really got into video games as a kid. My parents wanted us to play outside and be more healthy, so they never bought us play stations or xboxs. I'm saving my money for a banjo now!!! I'm so excited!! I can't wait to get my hands on one and start learning how to play it.
But really, if you wanna buy a Wii, then buy it. Don't listen to me cause I'm just naturally prejudiced against them. (even tho I know they are fun, & I always have fun playing the games)

what have I been doing? Oh, the usual summer stuff...laying around being lazy, hanging out with friends, working. Gardening.(well, mostly just pulling weeds...bleh). practicing my instruments. I went to a really awesome music camp in July. That was a blast

uhhh the Cherokees? They lived in the Alabama area, I think. They lived more in the south & east. (I'm pretty sure). The tribes around here are the Shoshone ( pronounced 'show-SHOW-nee'), the Utes, some of the Navajo, & more that I can't remember right now.

YA the banjo!!!!! I can't wait to get my hands on one they are kinda hard to learn how to play. But fun!

Well congrats on not drinking for 2 years my dad likes beer, he'll drink one with dinner. But it's not like he ever gets drunk. My mom likes wine & margaritas & such. But she's kind of a lightweight. Like one of my friends kept poking me in the side where I'm ticklish, & I kept telling him to stop but he wouldn't listen to me, so the next time he did it I stabbed him really hard in the shoulder with a plastic fork. Just like that --> It broke all the tines off. LOL. I felt bad right away though.

To explain about ~Levsta 's comics: he started drawing those characters a while ago. Then he gave me the Police Girl avatar . I just sort of adopted Police Girl as an online 'persona'. So he had already created her personality before I adopted her. I'm a bit like her, but I'm not that moody. Really.

Hellsing anime? I've watched the Van Hellsing movie, but I didn't know it was an anime too.

The scariest thing I can imagine? well, van Hellsing freaked me out a lot. (it doesn't take much to scare me). I dunno...i'll have to think about it. haha.
