Oh believe me, with some time and practice, anyone could do it. Some people a lot of time, but time nonetheless. It's all about practice and seeing things. A few nice photoshop brushes help too

I think you're right but there is also a part of talent In any case, I will begin to practice, I really admire people who control the digital painting!

I'd say talent is probably just a small spark of being able to "see" and put things together in a visual way. After that, its just practice. I drew all the time since I can remember in pre school, did art classes through school. But man, once I went to college and had proper instruction....they show you how to SEE things. And ever since then I've just seen my work get better and better.
Of course I'm a terrible perfectionist, so I honestly do obsess over minuscule details. And you certainly don't always need that. A lot of the time I still need to learn when to stop a painting lol. This one of Jack I look at and think about doing way more with the coat, textures, doo dads, patches, creases. But it would probably take away from things now. It's about her, not the jacket.
Give it time, and you'll have good control over your paintings too I suggest doing a couple still lifes, and seeing how the form and colour look. And replicating that. It makes a world of difference

I totally see what you mean I think I'm maybe in the same case with the "traditionnal" drawing, of course I'm only 18 years old and I still have so much to learn... And I'm never glad of my result... In September I will begin Design studies (and this for 3 years) but after that I would love to do 3d animation studies for video games or movies... So I have to learn how to use a graphic tablet as quickly as possible...
(sorry for my poor english I hope so that you understand what I try to explain ahah)

Your English seems pretty good to me. So I wouldn't apologize for it
I wish I had started doing all this when I was 18 lol. I went to the wrong school initially, wasted 3 years and learned only a few things. Mostly life lessons (those are important too). It probably wouldn't hurt to fiddle around with something like SketchUP to get a good grasp on 3D modeling. Any work with a tablet is good, the trick is learning to look at the screen and draw, while not looking at your drawing. That's the part that takes a bit of getting used to. Keep it up, and you'll be way ahead of me.
Don't feel too bad if you're not always happy with what you make. I'm pretty sure that's a common problem with creative people. Happens to me all the time. We sit here trying to create things, and the image in our head is pretty perfect of what we want. But our hands can't always make it that perfect.

Thank you for taking time to answer,
You're probaly right I mean I have to move with courage and slowly begin to practice on graphic tablet...
For the instant I make some things like this : thefrenchberet.deviantart.com/… with pastel pencils. I hope to be able to do the same thing with a tablet one day!

No problem. And your Yoda looks great. Once you figure out the tablet, you'll be able to transfer the skills over to using it.
You'll do fine with some practice
