Hi visitors!This is my mostly inactive miniatures account. I occassionally paint Games Workshop minis and post them up here. Although I colect several armies my focus is generally on Tyranids and Necrons. I also have a small amassing of Chaos World Eaters, Grey Knights and random figures here and there. Although I don't play any more, I still thoroughly enjoy painting the figures.
Although I really don't post here that often these days I -am- still painting. One of these days you'll see a picture from me pop up, keep faith!!

the hierophant's virtually finished actually, but not standing yet. i'd take photo's but i dont have a camera around at the minute
i've got a winged hive tyrant ready to paint as well, so i've been doing one or two things

Love your tyranid paintjobs, I also think its comparable to 'eavy metal jobs. I'm a chaos player who's building a necron force. Do you have any tips on building a necron force? Anyways, great job!

well, with limited troop choices you need alot of Necron Warriors. I'm trying to go for a full force, which is 120 Warriors... so yeah, get lots of them. Umm... otherwise just go with you're gut. Oh, and get a Monolith. You're opponent will hate you

I think I'm getting 5 more Immortals, a monolift, and 2 heavy destroyers soon, what do you think? Do I need the Wraiths/Flayed Ones for CC and a Destroyer Lord to help my destroyers?

Yeah you could use either or both if you feel like it.
Wraiths get to you're opponent really quickly and they can dish out a lot of pain and Flayed Ones can use Deep Strike, so you could have one or two Wraith squads rush up to the front line and then drop a couple Flayed Ones in behind them, keep them busy while your Necron Lord catches up

I added you onto my "watch list". If you care to see my necrons soon, I'm going to paint them the Kronus scheme cause it's easiest, and cause Dark Crusade was my starting block for all of this

Well, around here where I live you see very few Dark Eldar and Witch Hunter armies. Not sure why, the Dark Eldar look cool. And I've always like the Penitent Engine the Witch Hunters have...
