Nothing wrong with procrastinating! I do it all the time! Besides, when you're reading a book like 'The Colour Purple', I should imagine it's hard not to.

Well its quite an interesting book, Alice Walker's use of language for the main character keeps you interested cause its different. Kind of like broken english.
Gah! You can sorta tell I take literature now Β¬_Β¬

I know, it's horrible, isn't it? I actually analysed language in Hot Fuzz last night. Yes. Hot Fuzz. With Simon Pegg. The comedy. I've never analysed language in my life...Oh, the downside of taking English Lit...You start looking into everything. It's very depressing. XD

Indeed it is, you can't just simply enjoy anything....you start looking into everything to much XD

I finished The Colour Purple yesterday, I enjoyed it. I'm now reading Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit, its so bloody pointless and I still have 74 pages to go. Not reading it by choice of course gotta compare the colour purple for coursework.

Gutner! We haven't even been TOLD about our coursework yet! (Should I be worried about that?)

Hehe I shall, nope I haven't read it yet. I need to start on the WW1 literature o.O
π: 0 β©: 1
Rade-Sakura In reply to thenovadragon [2007-09-08 00:12:06 +0000 UTC]
Captain Corelli's WW2. We're comparing it with Translations for coursework. I don't know if we'll find much to compare, since CCM is around eight hundred pages long, and T is a tiny little play, but still...
SEND ME NOTES! You never note back any more!

thenovadragon In reply to Rade-Sakura [2007-09-12 20:20:21 +0000 UTC]
Well I could say that doesn't sound too bad but I haven't read either so.....

Rade-Sakura In reply to thenovadragon [2007-09-12 21:59:28 +0000 UTC]
Eh. Nothing happens in 'Translations', but CCM is lovely. Look out for Carlo (Carlos? One of the two), as he's a dear, but love Corelli most!

Aww, you say things like that all the time, and they always turn out to be fantastic! Put it up anyway--enter it anyway. Sometimes people still accept things if they're a little bit late.
