It's not possible with DWM on. Are you making an Aero based theme or Aero Basic based theme?

Then if you're using WSB add the property ContentAlignment:Enum toΒ Windows & Caption Buttons > Basic > Frames > Window > Top and set it to Center.

Hey, I got a question about WSB. A friend of mine wants to buy a license for me, however, he doesn't want to give away his email. I would also like access to the forums and such, which is a problem. How does the purchase process work? There's an area for an email address in the paypal area, but my friend and I are not sure whether the email enter in that box is where the product information will go to or is it the email that the paypal account uses.

how to make start menu (in whiteboard place) to be transparent,,?? i've use your stylehacks but the start menu still white, when i put an image transparent, it's gonna be black,,

Start Menu > Menus > Aero > StartMenuCompositedMFU::ListView
Add property COMPOSITED
On Start Menu > Panels > Basic > OpenBox set CONTENTMARGINS:MARGINS to 0, -200, -2000, -1998
You might have to play with that value to get the search box to show with the transparency properly.

Hello Panda. Any news on the possibilities of theming Windows 8? And perhaps any news on a new WSB for Win 8 as well?

Nothing new really. I broke my Windows 8 install trying to get testing to work again, and the Windows installer is being a bit of a trouble maker so I haven't been able to reinstall it yet.
As for possibilities, it's more limited than 7. I asked Ave if he could look into getting proper borders with transparency and he said he'd look into it, though haven't heard back yet.
