In regards to your thunder cat redesigns I like how you aren't afaird to present design sheet since more often nthen not they show the best view of a design you can get instead of feeling like you have to do the redesign and a fancy pose all at once.

thanks for the comments, well my designs arent that bad and i have learned to live with them, and yeah it is not always posible to show the full design when drawing in a full piece as you have to at that point think more along the lines of what it is that would be aesthetically pleasing and often lose the detailing!!

Sometimes it more fun to just focus on the character/costume/fashion design instead of trying to create a composition. So in shorter saying sometimes it is better to create a design instead of a composition. I gotten to the point that I rarely draw characters as designs and tend to draw from refernces as nudes primarily as it become more aout the figure that way for composition

i havent posted it because i think i did it when i was about 16 and looking back its not so good!! i think for the time though it was okay! it wasnt the gen x costumes though. i did them as like the survivors-it was about the time when almost all of the gen x-ers were dead.

no i wish, i did an a level, and got a full time job, and now i want to go to uni, but i am scared about the cost, and also my college tutors binned my work because i didnt come get it in time, even though they never sent me a letter to say it had been released by the exam board!!
so anyway haha sorry about that little tyrade!!! where do you stufy? your stuff is fantastic!!

that is a very cool iea!! so do you study at the moment? if you are with a college or uni or whatever i am sure they would be helpful in getting you set up, and also there are like independant places and stuff like in liverpool-where i live, there are places like the bluecoat chambers-i dunno how places like that work though, whether they approach you, or you them?
also there are places like cafe's and starbucks that have space to have peoples work on display and for sale!

ah okay cool!!! yeah thats exactly what you need to do i guess! the tate is awesome, and for the most part free-as is the other gallery the walker-the walker is more full of older, classical paintings and the like, but still worth a look, and its in a lovely building too!!
