First off- I'm so glad you want to cross stitch! It's a crazy fandom, and you never know what's gonna come out of it.

Well, if you don't know how to cross stitch, then I hugely, HUGELY, recommend taking a look at subversivecrossstitch.com for some inspiration- she has some awesome designs over there which are incredibly easy to pick up. She inspired me to get into cross stitch because her designs are catered toward *today's* stitchers, not some old granny. In the how-to section there is a nice animated tutorial on how to get started with cross stitch, too.
