Favorite visual artist: A lot, so I have to check that (and spend more hours here in Deviant Art)
Favorite movies: Star Wars, the Matrix, District 9, the Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit, Silent Hill... and a lot more but cannot remember right now :-)
Favorite bands / musical artists: I listen a lot to latin music, reggaeton, rap, but also reggae, and sometimes dubstep. It depends on the kind of energy I want to feel while listening music
Favorite games: Diablo 3, Star Wars Battlefront, Prince of Persia, Strategy games like Caesar 3 or Age of Empires
Other Interests: Dancing, going out to the cinema. It depends... Love to watch Animes, read Mangas or Comic books: In Belgium and France we have a lot of very good 9th art artists

Hi everyone,
I'm a bit shy, so I will not mention my name here ;-) but want to write a bit about myself.

I'm 30 and when I was a child I used to draw a lot. But after highschool, during my studies, I had to let that hobby for a while (something like 10 years...)...
I came back to drawing 4 years ago... and since november try to sketch or draw something every day.
I hope I will have the time and motivation to continue like that for a long time :-)

About this site, I find it great!! I really could spend hours browsing art in Deviant Art... And the amazing drawings, paintings, digital arts,... are so inspiring but at the same time so impressive that usually the result is that it let me blocked and thinking that I really suck (haha). Maybe it is also the case for a part of you people. I also read and heard about that feeling...

Fortunately, after a while it brings me a strong will to create or sketch on a piece of paper, so I suppose it's good in the end :-)

I think the idea is never stop doing what you love.
So I'm trying to get inspired and keeping on drawing stuff.
In general, things that get me inspired are fantasy and sciFi universes... (movies like Star Wars, the Lord of the Rings..). I also like more fantastic or horror things (for ex. I m a big fan of the movie Silent Hill).
I love mangas and animes, and find interest in Gunnm or Ghost in the Shell..
Ok, maybe I better let those topics for the 3rd step of creating my profile :-)

I'm sorry for the poor quality of the photos. I suppose it could be a good idea to work on that (or just scanning maybe...).
Also I'm not always very patient while drawing. It's more about getting fast the pose and attitude of the character or person I'm drawing.
I draw a lot from photos, or copy another artwork.
Sometimes I like the original things I do, but most of the time I don't, so I feel I still need to learn a lot to get more often satisfied when I draw from imagination.

Sorry for my English. I'm french speaker.
(I also speak and write in Spanish)
