hehe. used to be the same case...but now - i try to avoid it. needed that msg also for school projects and even in uni...we get projects which we have to discuss online. so, ...
piano sounds nice. wanted to learn that as well. and even drums and flute. well i've played all of them - but just for fun...no serious lessons. i've now somehow lost the touch of music. music no longer means to me what it used to...now, i get my inspiration from different things. from nature...from ppl. etc.

I feel the same way about losing touch with music. I've tried getting myself to practice my trumpet again so I oculd get into ensembles at the music college near my own school, but I just can't do it. I think those days are officially over. It's really sad because I played for 7 years in middle school and high school. I never took lessons or anything, but I was always in marching band, concert band, jazz band, and all the other random things like pit orchestra for musicals, brass quintet for special functions....so I was pretty much a band nerd. haha. But now....I have a camera and I suppose I express myself through that.

as for camera. yeah...i think that's the same case here. stopped listening to music and playing the instruments when i had my own digital camera. so, now..i have this pal most of the time with me.

I guess music was sort of in my genes. My dad played trumpet and my grandmother (his mother) played when she was my age and my grandpa played harmonica and was a great singer. My mom's side of the family wasn't very musical though. They listened to music, but didn't play it. I don't follow a whole lot of the paths my family took. Most members of my family never even went to college, and actually didn't get great grades in school. I'm the complete opposite. It would make a good argument in the nature vs nurture argument. haha
