Vasquez wrote a graphic novel called Johnny the Homicidal Maniac (for mature audiences, naturally!), which is what Mr. Eff is from. He also had a short lived children's cartoon on Nickelodeon called Invader Zim that achieved cult status in five seconds flat. He's a great artist and an incredible sense of humor.

If you like Zim, you should seriously check out JTHM. It was before Nickelodeon put him on a leash, and his opinions ran rampant and raving and ultimately make for good writing. ^_^

Nickelodeon can do no harm! Pete and Pete, Salute your shorts, Doug Funny, Rockos modern life, Hey Arnold, RUGRATS. I mean the list goes on. They shall always have a special place in my heart.

Pete and Pete was great! I have the first two seasons on DVD, and I loved Rocko, and Hey Arnold, but I never quite liked Rugrats. I was in the time of the Amanda Show, All That, Action League Now, and Spongebob. Although, Avatar was pretty good.
I curse Nickelodeon, however, because they cancelled Jhonen's show because they feared it was "becoming too violent", which is funny because they approached him after they found out about JTHM. Which is horribly violent. I mean, what did they expect?
