# About me
I live in central Arkansas, one of the most geographically diverse places I’ve had the fortune to live. I am surrounded by farmland to the east, mountains to the north and west, wetlands to the south and even have a rumored ‘extinct’ volcano within a 20 minute drive of my home.I share my home with my spoiled silver tabby Bella and my chaotic toyger aptly called Eris. The cats are kind enough to allow my brother to reside with us as well. Though I sometimes wonder if they think he is their personal servant.
My two passions in life are music and literature.
Music has been part of my life since before I was born. My father is a composer and plays anything he can get his hands on, but loves percussion. Before he moved to Canada he played timpani for the Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra. My mother plays flute and piccolo and enjoys singing. My aunts, uncles, grandparents all love music and many are band instructors, choir directors, music ministers or are in other ways involved in music.
My instruction in music began at a very young age. My primary instrument is my voice, although I do enjoy playing French horn and piano. I have been given many unique opportunities in my life, although my involvement with the music community is severely limited at this time.
If music is half my soul, literature is the other. As with music, this love was fostered from a young age by a doting mother who loved to read to me. She encouraged me to make up my own stories, writing them down when I was too small to do so myself.
I have dabbled in fan-fiction, original works and (very bad) poetry. Writing is a release for me, something that I enjoy that also is very therapeutic. It should be no surprise that I have quite a collection of filled notebooks, journals and USB drives filled with my work.
It was not until I was in college that I met my co-author, and with her have transformed a project that was nothing more than silly rambles into the first of a series of novels. Tentatively titled Fire's Dominion, this novel will be the first in the series we are currently seeking representation for.

No, but unfortunately it has been regulated to the back-burner for now. It will make a return, with new chapters and some revisions to current chapters, but unfortunately I'm unable to give an ETA on that.
I have been SWAMPED since late July, when my grandfather became very ill. He's been in and out of the hospital since then, and as his primary caretaker I have been spending a lot of time with him at the hospital.
Then there is my first published book getting ready for release in early 2013! Edits and work on getting ready for publication has taken any spare time I might have!
But, no, Adbertos has not been ditched. Just on temporary hiatus.
