Okay cool! And I like the idea of doing a matching thing for the musical actors and characters. I'm not sure how many people have seen the musicals all the way through, so maybe we should try to make those questions a bit easier than the anime or manga questions.
Because there will only be so much time for our panel, the written quiz will inevitably have a sort of time limit. After that, we need to have enough time for us to check all of the scores and announce the winner. Do we want to give one big prize to the person with the highest score (and have a tie-breaker question in the even that there is a tie), or should we just give medium-sized prizes to the top 3 to 5 scores?

I think that for the big test, we should quiz everyone on both the animess, the manga, and a bit of the musical. For the musical we could maybe do match the actor with the character or something.
For the test I was thinking about making it this format: The person who hands the quiz in first and has the highest mark wins which means if the first person hands in the quiz and gets only 20 out of 30, but the second person gets 25 out of 30, the second person wins. I think that will make it easier for the quiz. Or we could just do it where the top 5 people with the highest marks get a prize.

Right now I've been working on figuring out how to get us some prizes to give away. I contacted the vendors and Artist's Alley to see if they would be interested in donating any Kuroshitsuji-themed prizes. Sakura-Con will provide us with some "petal points" that we can give away that can be exchanged for merchandise in the prize room, but that doesn't guarantee that we will be able to get Kuro-themed prizes to give away. I especially want to have something cool to give away for the grand prize. (We were maybe thinking a Kuroshitsuji artbook?)
Alice was going to start on writing some trivia questions for the written quiz.
We also need more ideas for the party games, and we were thinking of starting the panel with some discussion questions to break the ice. Like favorite characters, etc. But we haven't put too much thought into those areas yet. And we need to figure out what we want for decorations and make sure that we get all of those things. I love your idea of getting some black feathers for the tables!
So yeah, we're pretty much just throwing ideas around and figuring out what we'll need to bring. Feel free to dive in wherever you want to start! ^_^

Yeah, hopefully someone will want to donate for it. What about a few manga volumes as a prize or two if worst comes to worst? I could help write up some questions tomorrow, too.
What about favorite arcs, moments, villains, too? Is the con providing for the tables? I think a nice white table cover, black feathers scattered on it, and maybe some roses in a vase in the middle of the table? I could totally buy a ton of black feathers the next week or two and bring them.

Alice just linked me to a Chinese website that sells Kuroshitsuji stuff for really cheap. [link] It's all in Chinese, but she suggested using Google Translate. I just tried it, and if you search for Kuroshitsuji as 黒執事, they have a lot of stuff for sale. The prices are in Chinese Yuan, but I tried using a currency converter, and it is really inexpensive. We should take a look and see what we might want to get. Alice said that her dad can order it for us. I saw some really cute little keychains on the first page for only about 3 US dollars; stuff like that might be good.
We still haven't decided how much of the series the quiz should cover. The anime? The manga? Both? Just the first season of the anime?

The room will have tablecloths, but that's all. Alice said that she could get the flowers and vases. If you could bring feathers, that would be awesome! ^_^

I think the trivia quiz should cover all of the series in every form. o: Perhaps even some about the musicals and such, I think. Since we're holding a Kuroshitsuji panel, it should generalize everything about Kuroshitsuji.
