# About me

I am a single female who likes art but is their own worst critic. In 2014 I discovered Zentangle and decided to see what I could do with it. This carried into 2015 but not much past January. I was really tired of trying to find fantasy figures in the public domain that I could use for jewelry collages or other in my etsy shop. I started to draw my own mermaids and that gave way to a current interest in Manga and Anime.

I am still trying to learn the fine art of shading, reflection, and just general anatomy. I have no formal training of any kind. Everything I know is through youtube tutorials or other helpful sites.
