I use Google images as reference a lot. Clothes I find really reflect the character personality and can say a lot when you don't actually want to explain everything. (Basically I'm lazy and go for images instead of words lol) But references help a ton! Something as general as "cute girl's outfit" on Google images can give you an idea.

Trueee, good points. c: I need to draw more girls is probably the issue. I seem to mainly draw boys @u@ I just throw a plan t-shirt on them and call it a day. So lazy. I usually prefer to write, but something about being on dA just cockblocks my writing; I start typing like a derp, hahaha.

I know that feel, I try to write too but ehh... It fails. And a good way to draw more females is to draw your characters or friend's characters. It's easier if you have a set personality to work with.
