oh i liked EG by all means but it's just the following. i wanted to stay as canon as possible. but since EG showed that twilight freaked out and had never seen humans before kinda crushes my story taking places way before those events. i can either give em some memory loss but i feel like that would be a really sloppy patchjob.

I see. But think about this, how could you have predicted that Twilight would actually meet humans? I suggest that you go on with your story as you planned it and think about it like an "alternate universe" storyline of sorts, only that in this timeline Twilight will be more prepared to visit the human world when time comes (and maybe she will be surprised to see that not all the humans are crazed violence-junkies like the TF2 crew... ).
