Been pretty busy putting the finishing touches on a song that's debuting on Podcast Beyond today.

Apart from that, life's been good. It's transition time - that's for sure. Moving down to Oregon at the end of August to get goin' on grad school!

I've been doing pretty well, thanks. Graduated from high school in June - craaazy - and getting ready to pack up my bags and move, too (only I'm going to Massachusetts) for college! Been keeping busy studying hard in Japanese and French, running my group #ArtworkCommentary , and fulfilling my role as a country girl with a carpenter's dad by stacking endless cords of wood for the winter.

Odosketch is a lot of fun -- I'm not a person to do computer drawings (I don't even have a tablet, although I kinda wish I did), but I had a great time on it. It takes a little adjusting to, of course, and it may seem limited, but the learning curve is easy and it's amazing what can be achieved with it.

So heck yeah, man, do it up.

(I've been deterred by application deadlines, but I promise that I'm working on what I have for you for the exchange!)

Oh, thank you, but it's no problem, don't worry. I got 5 out of 7 of my applications done and a solid week to finish up the rest, so I'm catching up on some other things this week. I'm actually home sick with the stomach flu right now, but on the bright side, things are settling down a little and I've been able to do some writing. -so optimistic -

Wow! That's fantastic. You've got a bit more writing ambition than myself. It takes me forever to write admissions essays because I tend to write kind of fluffy, and then I second-guess everything I write so I won't finalize anything before several critical eyes have given it the ok...

By the way, sdpeaking of your awesome writing, how did that novel turn out?
