They say they have not heard form you but i was reading your journal and if you get this, this is what a professional photographer told me when I asked about the same question you are asking.....
"There are two things going on in his images. First he's using a lot of Photoshop Dodging and Burning. Second he is using a technique called HDR which stands for High Dynamic Range. Photoshop can do a little of it but there is an application that most photographers use call PhotomatixPro. These reason you need an application is because you get HDR images by taking 3-8 different exposures from light to dark and then combine them."

well im just learning the shutter speed thing....so im not sure what happened there. Thanks for commenting, i think your the first one who ever noticed the shutter speed of one my photos

I am in a contest right now to get a good moon shot with ~robert-kim-karen ... so I've been browsing and keeping my eyes open for good moon shots.
Yeah, we've both found that higher shutter speeds tend to work better for the moon specifically. One rule I've found really helpful is to have the shutter speed one step higher than the ISO and have the F-stops dialed to 16...
