yeah i am ta...keeping busy, working on a sealife flash set, posted the first sheet up. then ive got a mates tattoo machines coming in the post for me to strip and rebuild and some coils to wrap for a localish tattooist. making me want to get on and start building my own machines lol.

currently unemployed, one can say it stems from a bad attitude, I say it stems from em not wanting to be sell out, I like money but not so much to compromise my artistic integrity, By ex boss wasn't even a artist, well he thinks being a white rapper is art, and hes right, but there the stuff ya sow off and then there's the stuff for yo mommas refrigerator

but other than that feeling really blocked artistically for now

good good, im ok...still av a boring job lol. yeah....the apprentichip didnt go well, i was running very low on money and couldnt afford to go over the one day, so i got hold of the boss, he got funny with me saying about how it wasnt good enough and i should be running over to them at every chance i got....so i told him to find someone else for the job, he then went on trying to suck up to me, saying that i was a 'valuable asset' to the shop. anyway i couldnt be bothered with it, he didnt understand that i cant just magic money up and fly over what would take 2 hrs to drive. i enjoyed it there but there we go, gotta give eitherway wen ur doing it for free now he wont even do me a reference. what annoyed me most, just after i left he got someother girl in, taught her to pierce within her first week and she was earning money...they were supposed to do that with me, i showed as much interest as i could into the piercing side and they kept sayin they couldnt send me on a course, i needed people to come from where i live to let me practice on them....which no one could give up a days work for a free piercing (which is fair enough). i still want to get into a studio, but i wasnt financially ready for it then, and still not now as some a-hole has got my bank details somehow and decided to spend all my wages for me, plus my overdraft. now ive gotta wait for the bank to sort it out. right....ranting over lol, sorry i wrote so much lol.

thats the thing with a lot of tattooist they think that theyre something special!!and if you want them to learn you ,you should take alot of shit from them,personaly i learnt the hard way no apprenticeship,just bought a kit and went for it? weather it was right or wrong ? i didnt give a fuck, im not a elitest in the tattoo world ,and ill be lucky if only a few talk to me cos im very oppinonated,something will come round the corner thats 4 u ,shitter about the bank thing ! we had it done to us last yr but the bank was really good with us ? hope u sort it out....

yep....both studios ive been in have been like that....both think they are amazing, but tbh they wernt that special and there attitude stinks. i agree with u, and i dotn think being self taught i wrong at all, as long as its all done clean and safely then whats the problem, probably better then mos studios lol....i can speak from experience from the first studio i was at.
chears i hope so too lol, the bank are waiting for it all to come out on my statement then they will refund it, but ive found out they have taken out a credit card under my name, so now im trying sort that out.

thanks, well it looks like they have, ive got the money back so hopefully its done with now. that would be great to pop in, just looked on gogglemap at where u are, me and my boyfriend were at rotherham only a week or so ago, picking up some snakes....nearly at ur place lol. probably not going to tattoo jam, unfortunately ive gotta work. will av to go to some conventions, only went to mantra on there last year.

We will never do derby!!!!!! It's a principle thing!!!and it's getting old hat,it's not one of the best to go to , But we did ink n iron this yr , and we've just had conformation for next yr, just got back from Doncaster jam , and it's the best and biggest , hated Liverpool,will never do it again,like the new stuff uv done

Liverpool didn't have much else to do ! The compare insulted everyone but overstepped the line when he verbally attacked a woman in a wheel chair,and the organizers did nothing! The venue is falling apart,this might do for a band/ disco but not clean enough for a tattoo to be done in ,maybe im a bit to picky but then again im getting old n cinical ,Derby ? It's changed over the yrs ? And it's another that doesn't offer very much else to do,they seem to squash more artist in every yr?my only gripe about ink n iron was the lighting!but that's something weve been accustomed to over the yrs lol and as it's only a one dayer there's no need for to much extra entertainment, fuck me I read like a victor meldrew!!!!!!!lol

dont blame ya then...u need it too b clean and not too busy, packing as many artists in as they can might get them more money but it cant honestly be safe. i think mantra was quite good as they had plenty of other things going on, the tattoo room was quite busy but not too bad. the only thing that really put me off was it opened at 11am, so me and my boyfriend got there for then, only to find out that no one had actually set up anything at that time, by 3 they had just got everything set out, we had got fed up off walking round and round and left at that point. i think all we came away with was some cheap earplugs and a photo of us with lizard man lol
