Graphic Designer by day and a wannabe comic book artist by night.Just started drawing people in 2008 and can't seem to find any figure drawing classes in the evenings or weekends. So if anybody in Wichita Kansas knows of any then please let me know! Or if there is any great online courses that that would be wonderful too.

what kind of graphic design work are you doing?

I mainly do a lot of logo design. In the past 2 years I am really enjoying illustration more. Pencil or vector. The company I work for is Gardner Design.

oh ya, im in school right now and yes i can see how illustrator could be fun, but i just hate that pen tool haha. maybe one day ill fall in love with it

Yea, Im not a huge fan of Illustrator. I was taught Freehand, which they don't even make anymore, but you can really zoom in on things and the pen tool seems to work better for me. Hang in there though, you will get it!

oh ya i mean the only thing i hate about the pen tool is tracing back over what i just drew! it just seems so tedious
