I think the anime is better also, although I DO like the manga...the anime tells the story better, and has some of the most beautiful animation I've ever seen. Also...the music on the anime is to die for, best soundtrack ever!

I just picked up the first volume at a friend's house and fell in love
My question is: should I get the anime or the manga?

Personally... I like the anime. But that's only because the manga art is really flowery for me and besides Rev. Girl Utena I'm really big on Shounen and not Shoujo, you know? I love the coloring and the dubbed voices... *don't kill me* So I reccomend the anime.

LOL Yes... really it's not to grand, but I'm a fan of Rachel Lillis and I think Akio and Touga have decent voice actors. Then again, I love all things Utena, INCLUDING the dub ((though, like, really... sub is so much better...)).
...that and my eyes strain from the small video sizes of the downloaded episodes ((my computer doesn't function with the full mode properly, lol!)).
...so... THEN I take it that you don't buy the DVDs..? lol
