My judgement is often wrong...my confidence lands me in trouble.
It's a world where nobody can hear your heartbeat,no matter how hard it begs to escape and dream.You want to be a leader.You want to bring them together and make it somewhere.You want the best for all on equal terms.Bonded-understanding-patient.
Everyone has each other's backs and we never leave anyone behind.I just needed a chance.To assure myself I have evidence,it's everywhere I go,not like my haunting shadow.It's a light or day that keeps shining and burning as long as they're there,even in the darkest nights,I know not to be afraid,I know to be brave because people will need me.
I can't afford to kick back and relax.I will earn what is mine with my own two hands.
My group,my people.Our destination.One unity.We are each others' strengths.We help not out of weakness but strength.I long for the day I have my chance to shine,after being shunned out for so long I want to test it-prove it.
And maybe then as I learn from my mistakes,as long as I continue,it's with me everywhere I go.It could just be the thing to get me out of the shadows.
