It was meant to be "beautiful on the outside and horrific on the inside" - if you look into that reflection, you might see what I mean... But I may have walked too subtle a line with it.

BUT, regardless, I worked that building/sunset very hard, and so your praise for it is wonderful. It was one of the more ambitious stitch jobs I'd tackled (along the corner of the building), so I'm pleased it looked so authentic!

Thanks for the kind words about the award too. It's been really exciting to have people check out my art in turn.



ps - digging your work as well. I like your latest, I love your DevID, and Aphrodite IX is just perfectly beautiful.

Thanks for the compliments! After reading your last note, I went back and looked again, and that piece took on a whole new meaning. There's such a profound sense of impending doom that I had totally missed upon my first viewing. Don't think, however, for one second that it's too subtle, though. I think that makes it so much better. I really enjoyed the image before, but now that I see it the way you intended, I love it! Don't change a thing about it, no matter how many "why is this macabre?" comments you get!
