Hi!! Sort of! Vesper-End is an ARPG, or art roleplay game! Players create their Vesper according to a set list of Markings, and then participate in prompts + complete career tracks for their Vesper + explore the world etc. Roleplay with other players is encouraged, but I've been describing it as a roleplay game where you move forward via art of any medium over a joystick.Β

Chilled water against the soft grasses of the field is an enticing resting place for ferals and rogues of all sort. Wild Vesper are known to steal in for a safe sip to drink and to share in a snippet of conversation.Β
It's not uncommon for Vespers to seek out new friends and companions, and even a mate here and there. Uncivilized Vesper without much interest in raising families might even abandon pups here, knowing someone else will take on the so-called 'burden' of raising a babe.Β

Hi there! I'm just curious, do Vespers have any special like...I dunno, ceremonies or something that they do for each other's birthdays? XD I have a friend whose birthday is coming up and I wanted to draw something of our Vespers for her, but it seems a bit weird to draw them with the normal birthday cake and balloons

Hmmm!!! I honestly hadn't considered it, but I enjoy the idea.Β
I imagine it'd start with an early morning walk, visiting old haunts and thinking about the new places they've discovered - Vespers are typically really into exploring, and going on an adventure to discover a new location would be an exciting thing to celebrate another year old. They'd also indulge in a favorite food, and maybe work in their specific craft to show how much better they've gotten.Β

Alright I've got a quick question...
I got a Vesper from the event a few weeks ago, and I'm almost ready to submit her design. I also got genos for twins in the secret giveaway event thing...I was wondering if I could have my original Vesper be the twins' adopted mother?? Like could they live with her and look up to her as a family member?? I also received them as pups (kind of), so do they have to be pups for all my art and have to grow up with time???

I just have a quick question!
I am absolutely hORRIBLE at drawing people, so would it be alright if my Vesper's handler was a canine/animal of some sort? (I cannot draw anthros/humanoids either, it's really hard for me and I get stressed when I try to draw a human form q-q)

You do not need to have a handler to participate in activities! However if you want a canine/animal to be a companion or 'handler' of sorts, that is very much allowed!

Yes! We will also have items you can purchase that will allow you to add things like that to your Vesper's import, but even without an import image like that you could include accessories and things in their images and stories.Β

That's acceptable! We absolutely allow and encourage crossovers. You may even use it for an activity / battle piece here as long as it meets our submission guidelines.Β

Hello! That's okay, they can be confusing. When claiming a free Vesper from the geno journal over here:Β Free Vespers: Available! Β you can select up to three common genes which are listed right here:Β Genes: Masterlist . You download the Import PSD, and design the baby yourself according to the gene guidelines!! Once you're done you fill out the Import Template / Biography, place it in the description of your image file, and submit the design over here:Β Design Approval

Sorry about the delayed response, deviantart is being weird with notifications. You'll have to claim a free geno from the Free Vespers journal, and then design the baby yourself! If you can't design it, we have a Design Assistance center linked on our front page. Group Admins do unfortunately not have the time to design each and every genotype.Β

We do ask that:
You do not submit repeatedly. If a moderator is slow in responding to your request, please wait 72 hours and then submit a ticket here.Do not submit to update your biography every time you do ... anything. Condense your Vesper's story, or place longer biographies within a tracker.Β Do not comment directly on your Vesper's import! These comments will be hidden.
When applying for an Import update, be sure to fill out the following form.
Import:Β A link to your Vesper's import.
Type:Β Biography update, Error correction, Image update.Β
Updated Import: If applicable, link a sta.sh file containing your update image and Import Template / Biography.Β

Following the 'free MYO Vesper' journal, I've gotten the go-ahead from an admin- whippee! But I have one question- when it mentions 'common tail types', there isn't a clickable link, and I'm not sure where to find it. Following that up, would picking from the common tail types count as one of your 3 chosen common markings? Thanks- I'm excited to join the community!

The common tail types are located within the Smooth Base psd, which can be found here!: Official Smooth Base
And picking a common tail type does not count towards your three free markings, no! So you can have a common tail, as well as three common markings!
