Heyy, just wondering, how did you add more than one photo to your page? Like the stairs and escalators photo etc.?
'Cause I've been trying to figure it out for ages, I thought you needed a premium account? x

If you go to your profile and then to 'edit page' there's a bit called 'widgets you can add'. There's probably another one down there that you can add to your page. If not then I don't know what else to suggest! Let me know if it works.

I'm not sure, I've always had two there. I don't think I ever changed the settings to make it happen. I'll have a look around and see if there's anything I can find to help you!

I've tried all the widgets... Either I'm being very stupid or you're lucky to have more that one!

You're welcome! Yes, it is, I feel the same way about the Royal York Hotel in Ryde. I'm worried that it will be demolished and turned in to blocks of flats or something. It would be such a shame.

Is that the big Art deco one in George Street? I think it's a listed building so it should remain in some form at least but it'll probably be left to rot away completely before anyone does anything about it. It would be a great building to explore one day though

Yes, that's the one. I hope you're right about it being listed. I don't know much about it, apart from the fact it's derelict now and it looks worse almost every time I walk by it. It would be brilliant to explore in there! I went in there once to ask about job vacancies years ago though and it felt like I was in the hotel from The Shining which was kind of creepy!

I had my college graduation there and had my photos taken on the roof terrace. An amazing view and a great day with many memories.
I had a dig around the internet and found out it is Grade II listed for it's 'Architectural or Historic Interest".

Thanks, that was interesting! When I was little my uncle used to have a flat in Rose Court in Melville Street and we often saw people out on the roof terrace of the hotel from his windows. The views were brilliant!
I had my end of school prom at Ryde Castle, so I was really upset recently when I heard that it had burnt down! The damage doesn't look that bad from the road, but from above it looks terrible. It's such a shame.
