Wow! It's been a long time since I logged in here...

Hey Mel, yes I'm still alive and... well, not kicking that much... 

Oh you shouldn't have asked this kind of questions, you are now my designated shrink for the next two minutes.

I have not been drawing lately, I don't know, I guess I lost the motivation at least for now... Maybe I figured I needed some time away from all this art/drawing thing.
You know, I have this dream of a life where I can do this for a living and I think I wasn't doing it right to get there. So little time to spare and too much time needed to invest in each drawing lead to some rethinking of all this. 

Although it's been great sharing my work here and FB, and all the feedback and great support have been really awesome since the beginning (special thanks to you ) it became somewhat overwhelming too. Too many things to do, too many social accounts to take care of, too many comments to reply, too many people to thank, a lot of things that need (or don't) to be done and the spare time remains the same: not a lot.

So, I backed off.

It really comes down to rethinking my life, my time, art's place in it and a lot of other things... But I will be back someday, and will have to do things differently if I want to take this to another level.

I am so sorry for the small one and a half months delay, you can carry on with your life now...

Thank you very much for checking up on me, it's very kind of you thinking and worrying about me from the other side of the globe. It was very unexpected and heart warming, thank you.

I'm so sorry to hear about the lack of motivation (and kicking), but I can only hope that you do find it one day. I can only imagine the little time you guys must have for yourselves with a young family. 
Trying to launch oneself as an artist is no easy task, and it certainly is overwhelming. No wonder you felt like you needed a break. Especially pursuing such a unique form of art. Ink is a hard task-master! Despite that, however, you seemed to have grasped it's ways and wiles extremely well. 

When (and if) you do come back, rest assured you will still have a fan-base here who appreciate your work. Even if you cannot reply to each and every one of us, haha
