Your ID doesn't say how old you are...I am 61...that image of the woman in white is what I felt like when I was married to my first husband...he had an affair and married her and went on to have two children. I only tell you this because if you have loved when you are very young, married your childhood sweet heart, had his children then seen someone come between. You feel as the woman in the image. She wore white (she is virginal in that she has known no other man) she is cut off from her life (the husband the tree), and there is another between them. She is still tied to her life, but her love is dead (the red rose usually stands for passion, deep love). I read alot as a kid growing up, and love analyzing literature, and these photo manipulations done by women often deal with our lonliness, or isolation. Sometimes our hopes and dreams, all are different, unique, and tell a story. I like to read them. This one just touched me on a more personal note. I'm not sad, and I have a good life, and yes I'm still lonely at times, but that might just be the human condition. Welcome to DA, and I hope you start puting your art work up. You will enjoy the friendliness of most of the artists, and the sense of community.
