This 'wallpapers' account is totally obsolete.
We have a wallpapers category, wallpapers go into that category.
Because of hits, unifying all wallpaper submissions into one account is not only obsolete but extremely unpractical for all wallpaper artists.

i'm sorry but i disagree...
since you can browse through the wallpaper category and don't find any wallpaper of this kind.
you have lot's of screenshots submitted into the wallpaper category, you have lot's of personal jokes as well and in this account you can find a fine selected group of wallpapers that tend to be clean, vectorized and very stylish...
eitherway, not everyone will come here as often as they go to DA's wallpaper category browsing. so this does not inted to bring everyone who's looking for a wallpaper in here...

I browse through the wallpaper category daily.
I find 'wallpapers of this kind' daily.
I almost never see screenshots in the wallpaper category.
But I can see your point in the rest of your post... However, how many mediocre wallpapers there may be in the category, I don't like the elitist attitude of a wallpapers account that has 'good wallpapers'. But then again, opinions differ... As they should.

I believe that Your last sentence makes the hole difference and kinda describes the hole meaning of life of this account: this is an account of "good" wallpapers for thoose who like this type of design. And that's why they gatter the best of the best in here... But always as relatevely as tastes can be. Because anyone can like like anime wallpapers (i don't), or landscapes ones' (i don't either) or any other type of wallpapers...
This is a just a too godamn personal subject to be discussed.
Someone opens a wallpaper account: some people will like and perhaps use it; some won't and will still prefere to browse the category. It doesn't matter! Either way it won't be pointless cuz there will always be someone who likes it and so it has it's point: to please thoose certain people.
