Actually, if the press release from Nintendo is to be believed, the game "follows the story of the previous heroes’ descendants," which would be a sequel.

Well, It ended with Issac and the gang, outside of Vale with the villagers standing from a far enough distance from the Mountain. Also, When you play the second game you learn that lighting the lighthouses is a good thing. My friend has seen the game. I'm going to watch the rest of it on dvr.

And I know how the games end, I just don't see how the idea of the main characters having descendants conflicts with how the games ended.

Easy, I have played both games. I'm not saying that they could not have descendants, because Jenna did like Issac, but it just feels a little tacked on I guess. I will definitely buy the game for I love Golden Sun. Yet, I want to make sure that we are still okay as people. Okay Skyesong.

Oh, sorry if I came off sounding blunt, I didn't mean it like that. That's true, the games don't really support any specific pairings, but I think it could still work. Haha, I thought you meant that all civilization was destroyed and everybody died at the end of the second game or something, so they couldn't reproduce. I was confused

Well that's okay. Thank the big G that it was clarified. I just saw the trailer and IT WAS AWESOME! Though, I wish it was a little more clearer where it was going. However, it was awesome to see those summons and to see the atlantis summon for the first time in 3D. It is the one with goddess that shoots a lot of energy arrows that come down from the sky.
