Togainu is pretty awsome. The art is something I think that grabs me the most. I really should finish playing it now that I have the patch in. (but so lazy!) Thanks for the compliments! It was a pleasure to meet your aquaintance at A-kon this year, although we kept staring at each other, we were too busy to get up and chat much at all. I loved your costumes, and anybody who loves Naruto enough to cosplay gets a hearty two-thumbs up from me.
We'll very likely be at Oni-con too, this year (though we haven't reserved a table yet) so if you'll be around there, we'd be happy to see you again!
(I was cosplaying Jiraiya Sat &Sun, just so you're not freaked out by having a sudden stalker)

What do you mean *just* Anime Expo and Yaoi-con??
Alas, I have only found the finantial juggling to go to Yaoi-Con once, and it was so totally worth it. ..even though I saw nothing but the dealers room and a scheduled minkland gathering in one of the programming rooms. I intend to go back someday, but since Umbrella Studios has offered us a space for our comics on their table since we sold their Boys Under Glass, We'll probably just stick to mailing them stuff this year... which means we'll need something more ..appropriate.. for that market.

I hope we do at least as well at Oni-con as we did at A-kon this year. It wasn't even close to covering the costs of the hotel or production, but we at least paid for the booth and our badges with our sales, and since Oni-con is our local con, we'll have no hotel expenses to deal with, so maybe we might just get close to breaking even. If we can get out of the red within our first year and maybe even start making a profit, it would be so awesome. But that's just me getting ahead of myself. ^_^
Honestly, I've never had so much fun cosplaying before. This might be because I've never cosplayed such a well known character before, and the fact that I wasn't dying from heatstroke under that oh-so-beloved wig. This was the first time ever that A-kon actually got the hotel to compensate for the bodies by cranking down the a.c. So whoever was in charge of hotel negotiations, I salute you!
So let's see, things we'll be producing in the near future: Some sort of yummy manflesh book for Yaoi-con, a book of original and wierd shorts, a silent-hill inspired book, and the first official volume of the comic project that got us serious about comicking: Dispossessed.
Whew! That's going to be a lot of work! We may not be able to get all of these done in our first year, but it's good to have a plan, yes? Hmm.. I wonder if we can combine some of these...

I have no logic trains or vehicles of any sort. I have a collection of logic bees, that are trained to stay in formation, but more often than not wander off on their own to sweet-talk the neighbor's clover patch.

Yeah we won't even talk about how much I lost going to A-kon between airplane tickets, hotel, table..makeing stuff. Yeah. But it was totally fun so that made up for it. So far I've only broken even/profited at one con...and that was fanime..(local con for me) Yaoi-con i've never broken even at, but i am hopeing to change that this year.
*pokes you* ummm...get rich! and uh...go to yaoi-con so i can see and hang out with you people..cause your cool. Though since i will be a dealers room seller this year, I'll make it a point to head over to umbrella's table and see what stuff you got! *cheers you on* Good luck on all the comicness. I am just BARELY hopeing I might get a small doujin done. But really..no one is holding their breath, i am notorious for never finishing a comic...XP
but waaah! yeah A-kons AC...to me was killer..I actually caught a cold. since naruto isn't very insulateing..nor was Kyou. Ichigo wasn't too bad, but thats cause I actually have all the kimono layers cause I am a idiot..
