Why wasΒ Eugene here again? Oh yeah... she's supposed to return these comic books she found that was abandoned in the street. Enveloped in a plastic covering were three comics; oneΒ depictedΒ the X-Men, anotherΒ featured theΒ Flash, and the third one had this superhero namedΒ 'Kick-Ass'Β on it. There was even a worn-out label stuck at the corner, claiming that they belonged to someone named Todd and that he attends this high school...
It sure was pretty busy right now, but maybe it's because everyone else just got out of class while Eugene herself doesn't, since she's actually in university right now. Anyway, as she was navigating her way through the crowded hallways, she heard a commotion somewhere...

Avery walked back and forth in the row, looking for just one more book, quickly reading the titles as she passed them, till her eyes set on what she was searching for. Holding the couple of books she already had to her chest, the brunette reached up to grab it. "..tsk." It was just, barely to high for her short stature. Going up on her toes she tried again, her fingertips just grazing the bottom corner of it's plastic binder, but to no avail. The student only tried once more, swaying a little, out of balance being on her toes and accidentally bumped into someone next to her, whose presence had only just become aware to her. "β¦"
