Long time indeed, I have almost not known who you are. But the 'Germanized Malaya' schtick of your map is hard to confuse.
For the map, I can't/won't really comment much on the plausibility/desirability of the concept, but the execution of the map could have been more 'polished'. Arced names, legends, gradients (even topography if you're into such details) would enhance the visual appeal of any map, and can even give information on the time-frame/technological level expected of a setting. Of course, if the map is more of a visual aid and the background story is the real meat on the plate, don't feel bad about its simplicity. The story is properly exhaustive as it is, though.
That aside, here's hoping you find some way to turn the better part of your mad visions into tangible reality!
