The Dillinger 4 are an American punk band, with one of their song's being called "Mosh for Jesus"
The D4 were a New Zealand based garage-rock band(think MC5, kinda) who split up earlier this year.
Neither band stole their name from the other, or anything like that, but because Dillinger Four fans refer to them as "D4" they harbour a certain amount of animosity towards The D4.
Don't know if that makes any sense, but I would suggest you check out both bands as I think they're both pretty good. (Plus I love expanding people's horizons - I can't stand people who say they don't like something merely because of the genrre it fits into!)
