I find non-canon things like this to be fun. Fun little what-if scenarios. Here, Bowser is playing Mario Party 10 with a bunch of kids, and gloating about the fact that he beat them. Fun to see the villain stop his in-story villainy for a while to enter the real world and goof around.

Just saw Big Hero 6, and thought it was great! I like when a movie covers a nice variety of emotions. I thought the movie would turn bad when they became superheroes (I thought "oh please" when they started to put on their costumes), but the story was still good, and the movie never lost its heart, which was what I liked most about it. I still like the first half better than the second half. I was really getting into the story.

I loved that movie!Β It was definitely one of my favorite recent movies.Β Course I'm always a sucker for the superhero movies because they usually do put a lot of heart into them as well as action and interesting plot.Β I also did like the first part the best, but I enjoyed the whole thing.Β And the animation was amazing!Β I heard they have this whole new system they used to create the backgrounds and the crowd characters.Β There were plenty of easter eggs referencing other movies too, like the Incredibles action figures in the room full of that sort of stuff.Β

I'm not into superheroes at all. But here, I think they did a great job balancing it with other plot elements.
I do like the trend of emphasizing plot and character in superhero movies more. It makes these powerful people feel much more human.
