I went to NWT for a service project....
It was the only one my parents and the school would let me go on, and I really wanted to find out more about Canada and know more about the North.
What I got was a lifechanging experience!!! It was soo much fun! The group was awesome too...

I have a question for you - how do you make a good star? I feel a little guilty every time I render a lens flare for my spacescapes.

No problem!
A couple of times I've just rendered a lens flare, too.
You could simply use a white soft-edge brush and lower the opacity a bit.
Once I even added a shattered-glass brush on a layer ontop of the soft-edge brush, changed the layer mode to 'screen', and then lowered the opacity.
Play around a bit, and I'm sure you'll be able to find your own cool new way of doing.
If you need any more help there are some really talented spacescape artists you could ask, like [link] He's pretty darn talented, and there's tons of other, too.
