# About me
My name is Ashley Boren. I'm 18 years old and I am a freshman in college. Most people will know me as "the girl with blue hair". I don't really mind that so much because it shows who I am. My favorite color is blue and when I want to relax and get away, I drive down to the ocean and just sit there and watch the waves.I don't think about the future much, although I know I should. My major is art, which is another thing that hints at my future. Going into the art field doesn't make that much money as it is, not creating a bright future for me as one would hope. However, art is a sanctuary for me; it's my bright light, my hope, and my own world that only I can create. Most people can't see the world through my eyes and the only way they can is if I show them.
Art is my passion. I use every type of medium possible. Give me a medium and I'll use it. Generally art is thought of as painting and drawing, but there's literal art with words, which is another thing I do. I write. It helps me express myself when there really is no other way of doing so. My escape is music. I love to sing, but not as much as I love to write and create.
