Well, I'm not employed either, so... yeah. I'm going to do my first year at Hertfordshire Uni next week to do character cration and technical effects for film - looks like it'll be fun, but I'm nervouse about leaving home. Where are you studying ATM?

Exactly. I'm studying at Northumbria, doing Fine Art. Its really good. But your course sounds immense - very particular. You must have keen interests in CGI and such i'm guessing. And leaving home is very jarring at first, but when you get into it you won't want to go back. Plus it helps you appreciate the people who are home even more when you get to spend time with them.

I would have liked to have done fine art, but I do really love films, hence why I chose my course. It's more sketching, design, prosthetics and fabricating then CGI, but I might end up working with CGI, making the character models that get scanned into the computer - I'm a bit rubbishy with computer art, to be fair haha.
I know you're right, but I'm still a bit anxious. How will I have time to iron my clothes if I go out partying as much as everyone says I will? :S
