I scrolled through your gallery trying to find some inspiration, to see if your early stuff was less than brilliant but you'd developed in some way I could see, that might give me hope for my work...
But no. Far as DeviantArt is concerned, you were born brilliant. Ah well, I'll keep trying.

You're very kind to say that...My mother was a pin up model for Rolf Armstrong (her name was Jewel Flowers) and when I was a toddler I would go with her to the studio and I was fascinated by the ways that Armstrong could make images with pastels....so I had a leg (or arm) up on other artists when I was about four years old.

Hi there I'm sorry if this is sudden, but I found some art of yours a while ago that's really amazing! I hope you don't mind if I ask, but are you by any chance open to free requests? I hope that's okay

Normally I don't do anything for free, anymore, but my payment can be diverse....for example, a famous writer feller paid me in Pizza and Pepsi for painting a portrait of his dog. I didn't complain. Tell me what you would like me to draw or paint, and if I find the subject intriguing I may just do it and post it here. Otherwise I'll move on, but I will tell ya why I don't want to do it. Fair enough?

Sure thing I'm sorry I can't do commissions, I have no PayPal. Here's a few ideas to choose from, I hope you like one of them I'm a dinosaur lover!
Ray Harryhausen's
1. Styracosaurus vs Jurassic World's Sinoceratops
2. The dinosaur fight from "The Lost World" 1960
3. V-Rex family from Peter Jackson's King Kong vs the 1933 Kong's T-Rex
I hope you like one of these

# 2 appeals to me a bit....let me think on it. If I do it, it will be in color and I'll put it on my wall, but it will be easy for you to print out if ya want to. When I was a kid in New York City back in 1960 I remember seeing BOTH Dinosaurus and The Lost World around the same time in different theaters of course.. My dad and I had different opinions of the two films. He didn't like Dinosaurus because they were, in his words,..."Too stiff-legged." He reacted negatively to the jerky stop motion. Me on the other hand, LOVED Dinosaurus because they at least somewhat resembled the animals they were supposed to represent. Well, when you're eight years old, EVERYTHING looks good!

The stop motion in DINOSAURUS! is a lot closer to GUMBY than anything by Ray Harryhausen

LOL, that's true! Unlike "Planet of Dinosaurs" which has really good animation

Planet had some good animation in it where Doug Beswick was concerned, but Lordy is that a rough movie to sit through.

My favorites are King Kong (1933), Beast from 20,000 Fathoms, One Million Years B.C. , When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth, and The Valley of Gwangi. Those are my faves, but my video disc collection has most of 'em....The Giant Behemoth, Gorgo,.....even Beast of Hollow Mountain and Dinosaurus!, not to mention The Lost World (both versions) and on the lizard in a sandbox type, Journey to the Center of the Earth. I've loved dinosaurs ever since I was four years old......and THAT's going back almost to when there still were dinosaurs. (I said ALMOST)
